Seiran Khatlamadjian, also known as Seyran Khatlamajyan, was an esteemed Armenian painter and intellectual, born on April 20, 1937, in the Rostov oblast of the USSR. He passed away on September 14, 1994, in Yerevan, Armenia. Seiran Khatlamadjian is widely acclaimed as the pioneering figure behind the development of Armenian abstract art within the Soviet Union.
